Piezosurgery

Piezosurgery is an advanced surgical system to treat the mouth’s hard tissue such as bone, tooth enamel, dentin, and cementum. This advanced system uses ultrasound waves for surgical procedures that require hard tissue to be severed without damaging surrounding soft tissue. Piezosurgery offers many advantages over traditional surgical methods for the patient, such as:

  • Increased accuracy and precision
  • Minimal discomfort to the patient
  • Less invasive (to surrounding tissue)
  • Less recovery time
